Elimination diet was applied. To verify the preliminary diagnosis and determine the percentage of children who had already acquired tolerance to harmful food, all the children were subjected to oral foodload test - with open in 15.7% of the examined and with double-blind placebo controlled test in the remaining children. In 79 patients (41.8%) 109 (39,8%) positive results of provocation were found, mainly with cow milk (56.9%), egg white (15.6%) and fish (5.5%). The symptoms referred to skin (58.7%), alimentary tract (46.8%), the respiratory system (25.7%) and the central nervous system (2.7%). In 30 patients (27.5%) the reactions were immediate, in the remaining cases delayed (33.0%) and late (39.5%). False negative results constituted 3.6%.
