The aim of the study was to establish whether infants with bronchitis obturativa and cow milk allergy have increased concentrations of allergen-specific IgE antibodies to cow milk proteins and their particular fractions: alfalactoalbumin, betalactoglobulin and casein by the FAST method of 3M firm (USA). Our studies have shown the usefullness of determination of the allergen-specific IgE not only to the entire allergen of cow milk protein but in the first place to its particular fractions.
