Bronchial hyperreponsiveness – pathogenesis and diagnostics

for different specific and nonspecific stimuli, which do not cause this
reaction in a healthy person. Bronchial hyperresponsiveness concerns
from 3 to 15% of general population and is not a symptom only for
airways diseases. Pathogenesis of bronchial hyperresponsiveness is
distinct in different clinical states. Bronchial hyperresponsiveness is
evaluated by using provocation tests. In medical practice we use direct
methods (nonspecific provocation bronchial test with metacholine)
and indirect methods (exercise test).
