Three cases of contact hypersensitivity to p-phenylenediamine were described: one from hair dying, two others from a temporary tattoo. In one of the last patients a cross-reaction to rubber antioxidant: N-phenyl-N-isopropyl-p-phenylendiamine (IPPD) was noted.
